Mickey, my dear, I was defending someone who'd been castigated for a quiet observation.

On Monday Tom Sakic and I were at the RAH too early so we thought we would go in search of a pub (as you do) I asked this bloke if he knew where there was a pub and he said "no, I am from Los Angeles" so I said to him "your no bloody use to me" and he said "I'm no bloody use to anyone" and he laughed and as we left him Tom said to me that was Ed Saunders.

Of all the people I stopped to ask it was Ed Saunders. Anyway nice bloke and we found a pub in the end.

I don't want to make this a big deal and sorry for sure if I misunderstood your post.

For Bela, Paula and anyone else interested, here are my youtube links for The Partisan from Tuesday night.

Sorry I screwed up and split the song in two - I was so excited last night I couldn't push the right buttons on my camera! Does anyone know how to join two .rm videos into one?

Will post Democracy later.

Thanks everyone for posting these videos; great to see The Partisan being done.
And those of us in the US and Western Canada are patiently waiting for our chance
to sing along with So Long Marianne!

'The Partisan' sounded astonishingly powerful. So good to see LC playing guitar on so many songs.

Thanks very much, Phil! It's wonderful. :-)

Addendum: Phil, I've just found out how to stitch video clips together with Windows Movie Maker (in Vista). I can tell you how to do it, if you have a PC and that program on it.

We had a wonderful time in London with the meetups and the concerts. So great to be in such a wonderful venue, too. OK - there is no tube station close by since the royalties never would go by train but the building itself is a great experience. This time I bought myself a tourbook and was fascinated to see the two pages of credits for all kind of people involved in the tour organisation. WOW. But it brings me the idea to give credits myself to those who made the RAH days so memorable. This way I would like to thank

Padma - for putting the meetups together and it worked so well
Roshi - for "body important" and I didn't drink as much wine as I was supposed to do (but I had loads of beer)
Leonard - for Chelsea Hotel and that other song I don't remember
Jarkko - for giving me all details about the LC Europe tour 2009
Tinderella - for her beautiful son and daughter in awe
Michael - for guiding me to the Troubadour and telling me all about murders
Ken - for not saying anything at all
London - for having the Royal Albert Hall
Habie - for having me in her appartment and serving me so well
Habie - for constantly telling me that Germans have no humour
Habie - for explaining me the word "stereotype"
My mother - for not calling me while I was in London

Thank you people - Thank you everyone

H.

Dear Henning,

is that just another example of German humour, or are you by any chance being serious (which some people sem to consider to be pretty much the same thing, anyway)?
Please say that you are not joking, be a good example of what our people is stereotyped to be like... - Pleeeeease! :D

Roomwoman and LadyDi - I am not allowed to give any further information. Only this: There is a rumor that Leonard will give a benefit concert for bankrupt LC fans in the autumn of 2009 here in Europe.
