The tour will come to its end in December this year. Next year Leonard is going to focus on his new album.
If you want to see him again live in concert, it will be best to get tickets to one of the remaining shows in September.

I should think he deserves a well earned rest by the end of this tour.
Most of us have been very lucky, as earlier on in the year we were having doubts as to wether he was coming to the UK.
He did, and we have loved it. Thank you Leonard, his band and to all those concerned.

Jarkko, you are always the man of reason but I will remain a secret optimist forever :D But your advice is sound: get tickets if/when you can.

That's a good way to see things, Eva. And sometimes optimism might also be rewarded.

Jarkko:

Has 2014 been ruled out entirely for performances or is it possible that there will be shows in the latter part of the year?

Would that be including a multi-disc concert DVD/BluRay set, as well as a studio album of previously unreleased material?

I really could cope with both!

The new album

Post by meglos2000 »

So now we know what is planned for 2014.

While, like a lot of forum members, I would love to see some more concerts in 2014, let's not forget to get excited about the main news here, Leonard is working on a new album! That is such wonderful news, and great that he wants to keep creating new work.

I wonder if the new album will feature the UHTC band. I would love if it that were the case.

What songs do we know about that are likely to be included? I got the impression there were some not used for Old Ideas.

As far as I recall, that was the first ((official)) mention of the next album, G-d willing

***A question that nobody can answer yet - but my take is that it would be a studio album with new, previously unreleased songs.
***Another question that cannot be answered (because there are no decisions), but I think a new live DVD/BluRay is another project for the future
