Call for manuscripts

Postby jarkko » Tue May 10, 2011 6:55 am

Sore Dove Press in San Francisco is looking for manuscripts ((prose (fiction/non-fiction) or poetry)) about the life and/or work of Leonard Cohen. We are a small press specializing in poetry and are deeply interested in all things Leonard Cohen. Our editions are small (usually about 200 copies in two softcover and hardcover editions). We can only accept manuscripts up to 40 pages. All submissions should be emailed with a word file attachment to sdahi54@gmail.com. –Soheyl Dahi (Publisher)

i have hundreds of top quality vignettes and pieces of prose giving unique analytical insights into leonard's work, all primarily inspired by his texts. i need money, though. my bank account is empty and i am living on handouts.

Your material circumstances are immaterial, Geoffrey. You are clearly rich beyond measure in so many other ways. ;-)

I always thought that rabbits were sweet and playful - turns out they're pretty smart too.

Geoffrey, I love your idea and would buy at least two copies.

Sore Dove is also the publisher of Anjani's postcard series: http://www.anjani-music.com/slogan.html#red and two chapbooks (whatever those are) of Leonard Cohen: http://www.soredove.com/order.html

I wonder if the Dove is Sore because it has been caught...and bought...etc

I bought a broadside from Sore Dove - Anjani’s ‘Holy Ground’, and was very pleased with the quality of the piece as well as the personable service.
