Being a fan since the release of the songs of love and hate album and seeing him in 1979, 1988 and 1993 I am pretty exited to see him in just a couple of hours. I have always kept hoping to see him one more time live and it's going to happen.
We are from Rotterdam so we will join you all at the pacific bar to have some pre-concert fun. I think we can tell each other some great stories about our favourite songs. I'm hoping he will play famous blue raincoat, but i think there is little change.

Do you know that on the usenet forum alt binaires sounds lossless some one posted a pretty good sample of the moncton concert. It proves what being said here in this forum that this tour of Leonard is fantastic.

So see you at the pacific or or at the concert of a live-time.

Hello everybody,

I'll be arriving in Amsterdam on Friday and I would like to go to the Pacific Bar to meet you all before the concert on Saturday. I'm sure we will have a good time before, during and after the concert. Rain or no rain, it doesn't matter. The music will keep us warm and happy.
See you there at 2.15.

Love,
Inge

Holy mother of god! I am in Antwerpen for business from the US and I JUST discovered LC is playing tomorrow!!!

I have been a huge fan of LC my whole life. I can play half his old songs on the guitar and am fortunate I have a voice very similar to his when he was younger....
He is one of my primary influences next to Tom Waits (whom I JUST saw in Atlanta on Saturday!)

What a great week of concerts this will be.

I will be there rain or shine. See you cats at Pacific Parc.

cheers

highsmith

Hello Peke,

It is not allowed to bring any drinks, you can't even bring a bottle of water. However, you can buy all sorts of drinks there.

In case it rains: umbrella's are not allowed too.

just one day left...

Perfect weather for a Leonard Cohen concert I would say. No doubt he will warm all this up.

Too bad for those who are afraid of wet hair, umbrella's are not allowed.

But the good news is that it will stop raining in the afternoon. Still it would be a good idea to bring your famous blue rain coat.

It has to be my (not so famous) red poncho. But we won't need it. To prepare for tonight I am looking on youtube to the concert in Bruges.

Cameras are not allowed, but they don't take any small digital cameras I suppose.
