I finally managed to put all my anxiousness aside (I must say also thanks to Jarkko...) and decided to put this "poem" on the Forum...
Please forgive any linguistic error - English is not my mother tongue.
It was written after a most enjoyable and inspiring couple of days at the Event in Berlin last August.
Hope you like it.
heilig-kreuz-kirche, berlin
all of us were present there
in this once holy space
with its pillars like stiff fingers
embracing transparent gothic thoughts
still filled with prayers
of now silenced crowds
it filled up with clarity
with newly spun chords
around long spoken words
revealing its future like past
it humbled the shining faces
of pilgrims come to rest
to humbly concert
in shared loneliness
in wounded past tenses
in deepening hunger for more
for opening souls
for closing embraces
we all were present there
amongst the still rumbling pain
we were kept by a promise
made to ourselves
and rejoiced
clapped to the tune
of sighs and growls
with eyes filled with glamour
we glanced
and stuck back in our inner most selves
shook hands and put on coats
and followed back the traces
each of us once left
Dany

A load just fell off me...
Thanks Lizzytysh - it really makes a difference if one gets a reply... and certainly if it's as kind as this!

Shared feeling
Glad that I was able to convey this feeling, Diane and thanks for your reaction!

Dany - thnx a lot for the poem, it helps to keep the memory more vivid.
As long as Jarkko is busy with putting together more pictures and reports, I'd like to share this photo I shot from the stage, to capture a special species of human being, those standing are both, Cohen and Dylan fans. It' just that I don't know if Dar is one of them, too
Greetings from the dark room.

Cohen & Dylan
I confess, Henning: I too am sort of a Dylan fan. Fortunately you can't see David (my son) or me standing upright as well - we were timidly hiding in the far left corner (and managed to do this throughout the Event).
Some guys have all the luck!
I wouldn't call myself just "LC fan", though - He simply has much more to offer... somebody you just feel very comfortable with.
Thx for your kind words - Dany
