Okie from Muskogee: Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson

Kris Kristofferson did a parody of Merle Haggard's famous anti-hippie anthem of the 60s Okie from Muskogee, here he does the parody straight to Merle. If you know original the redone version is sly and hilarious.

I drive through Muskogee every time I drive to Texas (US 69 south) but have never actually stopped there. Maybe next time I will.
