Hi Gallina,
Thanks for all your lovely photos. I miss everything and everyone also. I keep having taste flashbacks of the exquisite food we shared and tactile flashbacks of the gorgeous water off the rocks...
Carole came across this video featuring Leonidas and Pannagiota's taverna...sweet memories for many of us...

Anne, thanks for posting this little gem! You and Rick Steve's took me right back to Hydra.
I loved it when he says something to describe the island and finishes the sentence with
"and you have found your Greek island", indeed we have. Also I was thrilled to see him
at Leonidas and Pannagiota's home. I think that night at their taverna was one of the
highlights of my visit!

- a lot of good wishes (from cold and rainy germany) to all the friends in the world
again i met so many "menschen" i feel related to, on this wonderful island, but unfortunatly we allways have to" go back to the world"
...one afternoon a guy from switzerland ask me , i have seen you yesterday on the beach -you were about 10 persons communicatig in 6 languages-
you seem to know each other quite well -you had a lot of fun - young and old together - you´re not from one family - what keeps you together
i was very happy to tell him: leonard cohen - SNV31880.jpg (28.83 KiB) Viewed 5425 times

it's been three weeks since the meet-up already and not a day has gone by without me thinking about it.
I keep looking at the photos, to assure myself it was not a dream..

...leaving Hydra on the day of the general strike with the taxi-boat freedom(!)
for € 6,50 to the mainland. together with the fan of the fans: Nathalie (the guy in the middle is the captain, whose ship was perfectly built)
we hired a car and visited epidauros(ancient theatre) picked fresh oranges from the tree, stayed overnight in nafplion(former capitol)
and passed from the channel of corinth to athens airport. it was worth doing it!! i´m still in love with greece and all his ambivalence
