Thanks Alan, great filming, you must of been as quiet and still as a mouse! I can watch them over and over again to relive my favourite bits.
Enjoy the rest of the tour,

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Melbourne, Australia - November 20, 2013
Review by David Gill in the Daily Review When purple lights slowly illuminated the stage and the silhouette of Leonard Cohen skipped into view at the Rod Laver Arena the hushed and reverent atmosphere was reminiscent of an Easter Vigil or a midnight mass. Well, a mass held in a venue which last tim...

Re: Melbourne Rod Laver Arena pre-concert gathering
Thank you for organising the meet-up Andrew. Food and service was great, they brought us complimentary hot chips while we waited for our orders and they played Leonard for us, couldn't ask for more. The photos make me realise how many people were there that I didn't get to say hello to! I will out m...

Btw, thank you Alan for your observations and the comparison with Sydney.
Jim asked me about the sound and I really have nothing to compare it to, it was fine but I told him Rod Laver was all concrete, I didn't notice the carpet under my feet! Looking forward to your videos too.

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Melbourne, Australia - November 20, 2013
Here are some of my thoughts on the night although I feel a little daunted by the task. I hope I can do it justice, it was such a great night, even the after concert walk along the Yarra back to Flinders Street to catch the tram seemed magical in its aftermath. When he first came on the stage I was ...

Shame I booked my seats for the first Melbourne concert...I would much prefer the Palais, have seen some good shows there and love just catching the 96 tram to get there.

I can't keep up with all the threads, I tend to cherry pick. Maybe all Aussie LC fans are PK fans as well, although Pandora doesn't seem to make the link.

Re: What Miley Cyrus can learn from Old Men
Joe, Paul Kelly played support at some of the winery concerts (not something he usually or needs to do but he has said that he respects Leonard as a songwriter). There are similarities in their songwriting in that they both borrow from the bible. B4real, I'm guessing you know who Paul Kelly is but m...

Re: What Miley Cyrus can learn from Old Men
Enjoyed reading your post Joe, Henry James, along with Jane Austen (the two are inextricably linked) educated me in my youth, as did LC. Your Yeats quote brought back memories of a wonderful live performance of 'Conversations with Ghosts' by Paul Kelly and the Australian National Academy of Music I ...
