Re: chat room

Well, I never managed to get into the chat room either. I tried to, because I wonder what visitors to the chatroom talk about that isn't discussed already on the Forum.

Re: Worst Song Lyrics Poll

OK, that one looked funnier last night when I wrote it after a few beers. But this one is real bad (from Boney M "Belfast"), unless I miss the deeper sense hidden underneath it: When the people believin' When the people believin' When the people believin' All the children cause the children Are leav...

It was around 1969 and I was 15. One of the teachers at my school thought it was not much fun for him nor for us if he taught us literature, so instead he installed a stereo in a basement and played Dylan, Zappa, Simon & Garfunkel, The Doors, etc at full force every time we were supposed to get clas...

 I am sorry that I reacted to a message that was not the (almost) last one... I hadn't seen the last page. Especially embarassing because that last page deals with a subject that is particularly personal and sensitive. Anyway, what is done and written is done and written.

Tom, "politics is back into the forum" - I sometimes think that the entire forum is about politics. In another thread (it may even have been this one :? ) we briefly talked about how threads seem to go awry, whatever the subject. In a way its fun, because it is a free for all, and everybody can writ...

Well, frankly, every time I read through a thread I forget what it is all about once I reach the second page or so. It seems that every new post just takes off where the previous one stopped regardless of the original subject (like this one  ).
