Some new work

Hi everyone, I posted track of mine a while back which some of you showed a little affection for so I wanted to also share the first track from my debut EP which is being released in the States in the New Year. This one is very Leonard influenced... but hopefully not too much! Anyway, here is the li...

Re: A track I wrote which I would love Leonard so sing

James the miller wrote:What stood out most for me was your singing...there's an attractive vulnerability and frailty to it....was reminded of Jeff Buckley. This came across in your other song on youtube too, 'in this house'.
Thank you James, thats a very kind thing to say.

A track I wrote which I would love Leonard so sing

Apologies, I previously put this message in the incorrect forum. --- Dear reader, I wrote a track last night which I feel should be categorised as unashamedly Cohenesque (if only in attempt) and so thought some here may enjoy to either listen or better still, critic. I do not think I have shared my ...

Re: PRESALE TO NEW YORK AND BROOKLYN

Hello friends, I have just found out I am travelling from London to Brooklyn later this year and my last night in New York is indeed the night of the Brooklyn show. I have searched online and managed to find tickets for $500+ which I simply cannot (and tbh will not) pay. It looks like I missed the p...

Re: London RAH, 17-18 November 2008

yeah, thanks to leonard for an amazing evening. I too thought he was a little quiet first half, especially as my last encounter with the great man was back in manchester earlier this year where he had already introduced the band a dozen times before the first interval. However, as the show went on h...

Re: Find, sell or swap tickets here

Hello, I am desperately trying to get hold of a ticket or a pair of tickets for the London 02 gig. I had a ticket for manchester but I can't get the time off work as it is a mid-week show plus the costs were going up and up. I would love to take my girlfriend if possible but beggars can't be chooser...

Re: Artists similar to Leonard Cohen

Re: Advance ticket booking for Files/Forum members

Hi lizzy, It was my understanding that I had to join in order to receive pre-booking passwords etc - otherwise i would have remained an idle lurker. I'm sorry if you took me seriously, i don't really think they hang people in the Leonard Cohen message forum. Good luck with reaching the 18,000 post m...

Re: The Great Ticket Debate

What was a very nice gesture from Leonard to the forum members is fast becoming something I want no part of. The long term members here do not deserve the shit that is being thrown at us. We are not in distress or petty minded or spiteful or mean. We are just people who have formed a bond both on a...
