Re: FIND/SELL GIFT BAGS AND/OR LITHOGRAPHS FROM OLD IDEAS TO

I'm still possibly interested in buying all or part of a VIP package (from Toronto, preferably), or lithograph (from anywhere, depends on what it is) if anyone has any extra for sale.

Re: FIND/SELL GIFT BAGS AND/OR LITHOGRAPHS FROM OLD IDEAS TO

I would be interested in a diamond package from the Toronto, Ontario shows. I just need one, but needed two tickets. Based on the formula this would be worth about $280? I would prefer local pickup somewhere in the Toronto area if possible, but would pay for insured shipping if need be.

Thanks!

Re: tattoo

catwhiskers: I felt the same as you did! A week after the show I got the unified hearts on my back... had a difficult time deciding what color to go for, so we ended up doing 2 colors... red and violet. (this was when it was fresh, and applied over a recent horrible sunburn! Ignore the red blotches....

Re: Some Canadian Box Office Grosses

(I presume that's the reason these were posted, or idle curiosity). G I think otherwise - posting these figures is a huge indicator of the scope of Leonard's reach across audiences. He's broken North American box office records, which is a huge deal - primarily because this is based on a handful of...

Re: Some Canadian Box Office Grosses

These figures are available to industry insiders, and also to paid subscribers of Billboard Music Business News (billboard.biz). I know a few people with access, but haven't asked them to look it up lately. Also notable - the venue size and fees factor in. The Sony Centre was larger than some others...

Re: Toronto (June 6 to 9)

Hi JohnK, I had it done this weekend at the tattoo convention here. It's about 3 inches across or so. I had scanned in the tour poster picture, cropped it and took it with me. We discussed doing the black hearts with blue background, but decided that the hearts would pop more on their own. It's bene...

Re: Avoiding Scams and Touts & Dealing with eBay

Wow - I got a sticky! Yes Jeremy, if a buyer is scam-saavy, they know how to play the system. It is possible to have them receive the tickets (or merchandise) then call the credit card company and dispute the charge. Most companies offer consumer protection in favour of the buyer, and require little...

Avoiding Scams and Touts & Dealing with eBay

I just wanted to take a moment to address some issues obtaining tickets through scalpers/touts online, especially on eBay (or on other listing places, like Craigslist). Consider this a public service announcement. I don't support scalping. I don't support buying tickets on eBay, but the sold out con...

Re: NATURAL BORN KILLERS

I'm dredging this up after 4 years (4 years?!?!)... I adored NBK - for me, it was an absolute masterpiece, and I knew it the minute the film started in the theatre. Written by Quentin Tarantino, directed by Oliver Stone, soundtrack by Trent Reznor, featuring Leonard Cohen. How much more genius can b...

Re: Advance ticket booking for Files/Forum members

Hi Velvet, I had no problem getting seats, but as I said, ticket master has restricted the seats to the back of the bus. I was told this by ticketmaster. No good seats available before tomorrow. We can do a test if you want. If anyone has a seat closer then row Y can you let us know the row? And if...

Re: Toronto Tickets Pre-pre-sale?

There are members and donors of the Sony Centre who have reserved seats for all shows at the venue. Frequently these same people will give away their tickets or sell them at a massive profit if they aren't attending the show. It sucks. But if you've got an extra few grand to contribute, you too can ...

Re: Toronto Tickets - did you get them?

I had 2 browsers going at once. I did get the $250 tickets in both windows on the first try. I started the checkout with the ones I got, and by the time I clicked on the "Search again" the other ones were gone. I figured out that they lasted about 90 seconds - 2 minutes before they were gone. There ...

Start counting to get an idea of where you'll be. The venue only holds about 3300 I believe. When shows sell out, th...
