At Hamilton, the Bass in Cohen's voice was cranked incredibly loud.. Which sounded great, but might have been why the band sounded a bit hollow to some... As for the changed line in "The Future" -- I was shocked at the change! I was trying to explain to my (less-fanatic) date why the line was upsett...

We are still accepting performers for the saturday Open Mike. Cohen covers + Cohen-inspired tunes + poems are all accepted, so give Andrew or myself a shout if you wish to join in the fun!

The deadline has not passed, though it is approaching! Fan submissions are generally poems or essays about how one discovered cohen or how he influenced your life. Previous participants should have the handbook from each fest, which contains these fan submissions.

There are two locations close to the Westin with internet access - free 1 hour access at the library, and an internet cafe about 4 blocks away. There is wireless internet available at all the second cup locations downtown - there is one a block from the westin and another about two blocks away.

Hi everyone! Just a reminder that we ARE still accepting names for people wishing to perform poetry or music at the Edmonton event. The open mike will be fairly early into the event, on the evening of July 24th. There have been a fair number of registrations already, but I am holding off on releasin...
