Re: late 60s early 70s bootlegs??

see: http://www.leonardcohenlive.com/concerts.htm Thanks for referring us to this URL. I thought I had a fairly good collection, and there seems to be many recordings that haven't ever been BitTorrented, or at least lately. I think this summer I'll do some pump priming on DIME and place some oldies...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Grand Prairie, April 3

In your opinion, did you find the Grand Prairie show to be superior to the official 'Live In London' release? I have listened to the bootleg of the April 3rd show, and I haven't come to a conclusion. My wife says that because the 'Live In London' release was so early in the tour schedule, that they ...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Los Angeles, April 10 & 11

I am a bit bemused by this blow by blow report of the concert. I am wondering how you can fully enjoy the concert, savour every moment and drink in the atmosphere if you're busy texting or e-mailing whatever throughout it? Would be interested to know what other people think. Wendy Must admit I find...

Azureus works just fine on a Mac: http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ Azureus has a Windows version, also. I use it, and have good luck with it. I don't know how DIME works with the latest, I use Version 2.2.0.2 Everything I am seeding right now is Cohen related. I am still seeding the Grand Prairie co...

Re: Conspiracy of Beards at Oakland concerts

Wow ! I'll consider to give up my complaints re AEG then  :D :D I still do think however then Ticketmaster should be investigated, and their merger with LiveNation is a terrible idea for consumers. For those uninformed in regards to the merger, go to Google and type in, 'livenation ticketmast...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Grand Prairie, April 3

Being a city of 6 million residents, the projection for ticket sales probably warranted the choice of the Nokia as a venue. Sadly, this did not happen i have friends who wanted to go but didn't because of the ticket price(s). even the cheapest tickets were more expensive than they had ever paid for...

Re: Grand Prairie show w/ Lullaby on Dime

I have some problems: I can't open the downloaded file. It seems that I need some sort of torrent software. I found several ones, but they only work with Windows and not with mac. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can download AND open the file with a mac? I would really love to hear &qu...

Yes, Mary... Yes, it is interesting how he changes the literal symbolism of a line in a song by either his deliberate or accidental improvisation. This is one thing that fascinates me. You are right about Leonard's obvious pleasure with some of the performances around him, like Dino Soldo's solos. I...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Grand Prairie, April 3

While being online the TV over my shoulder reported that there is an arts recession in the Dallas area...that people are not putting money into shows, and that the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, in particular, is hyper when it comes to donations. I think a little more promotion would have helped, but I ...

Re: Grand Prairie show w/ Lullaby on Dime

Hope you like it. http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=244067 I was very impressed by the work put into the package of 3. (First Set, Second Set, and Encore.) I'm seeding. I know I'm being redundant, but I'm thankful and grateful and grooving. Happiness is something you are spreading l...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Grand Prairie, April 3

Many fans found the Grand Prairie show to be the best thing they had ever seen. I expected a great concert, but I didn't expect that days later I'd still have a feeling left by the experience. Not just from the stimulus of incoming email. This was the best show I have ever seen. I'm 57, and have see...

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Grand Prairie (Apr 3)

The hall had side rows at $130, so we went with those, because we could tell on the map that it put us close to the stage, but more near the band then, say, the Webb Sisters. Sightlines were perfect, and the acoustics were good. Near the end of the show, when some of us from the front rows congregat...
