Re: The Darker Album and the Songs

A short reminder for those who’d like to put their thoughts of the great song „Treaty“ into a historical perspective or expand their view about the background to avoid over-interpretation. At least parts of the text are pretty old and not written under actual pain or disappointment or whatever. Duri...

begging for a bag

Dear Oblivion,

This is a really great idea and an irresistable product! So I queue up in the line moving through the concerts
– begging for a bag!
Is there a chance to get them also by post or do I have to fly to Las Vegas?
All the best,

Peter

Having been to that great concert at the "place of stone", I would very much like to have a recording of it. So could you add me, pleeease ? Peter _____________ 1974 Hamburg, 1976 Hamburg, 1979 Hannover, Kassel, Hamburg, 1980 Hamburg, 1985 Hamburg, Hannover, 1988 Hannover, Hamburg, Vienna,...

Re: Leonard Cohen on German Radio WDR5 today

Would be great if one of you could make a recording - just in case that it is worth it. Sadly I'll be unable to listen to it tonight, but would perhaps like to hear it afterwards.

Re: The Monkey and a plywood violin

Hi Diana, I've seen Leonard so often in the past 35 years, but I've never seen Fred... However, one of them I'll see possibly for the first time, and the other one probably for the last. I am already a little bit sad about this, but perhaps the monkey with his violin can cheer me up. Can't report ba...

Re: The Monkey and a plywood violin

I'll take my binoculars to the concert in Berlin tomorrow and search for Fred and his friends. Hope it doesn't distract me too much from the music ...

Re: Meetup Berlin

Fine, if I can manage it in time I'll try to trott to the trattoria at 5 p.m. And if the concert gives me a vita nova, I'll try to find the via to the Via Nova. Probably all of you will be easy to recognize by the tears in your eyes ...

Re: Meetup Berlin

Any place close to the o2 will be fine. And if many of us stay in the same hotel this might be the easiest place for most. But the interesting question is still whether there will be something like early entrance. I'm sure Jarkko knows there is none and will tell us soon.

Re: Meetup Berlin

Of course I'll also be there and stay at the East Side Hotel, arriving in the afternoon. If there is nothing else around, perhaps the hotel bar (if there is one) might be the place to meet. Will there be an early entrance like during the American tour? Probably not, if we are only a handfull of peop...
