My French is not quite sophisticated enough, but it looks as though speculation had begun in October?

Re: BBC Radio 4 'The Essay' programme on Suzanne

Very interesting indeed--I heard in this essay, what I had not consciously recognized in myself. My long dark cape and dark blue sunglasses--my frizzed out hair--and multicoloured blouse. raggedy blue jeans --hmmmm

Re: 1960 Photos Of Leonard Cohen, Marianne, Axel Jensen On H

Hi Lizzy
Yes sad indeed. At the same time a not uncommon story at that time it seems. There was such a pressing need for people to push the limits in so many different ways. Leonard was one of the lucky ones who survived the sixties and even thrived on them. I guess we are too?

Re: 1960 Photos Of Leonard Cohen, Marianne, Axel Jensen On H

I went looking and found this 2005 article on George Johnston and Leonard Cohen. It is probably already here somewhere but fits in quite well with these photos. George Johnston & Leonard Cohen Shane Maloney EMAIL | PRINT | NEWSLETTER | Facebook Facebook | Twitter Twitter | On a wet March afterno...

Anjani from Las Vegas to Madison

I just read Joe's post about the Las Vegas concert--loved how he threw this in nonchalantly at the end of his post. "Also met Anjani in Las Vegas and she agreed to perform at the event in Madison! Take care everyone and hopefully we'll meet again at some happy event in the not too distant futur...

Re: Cohen, Dylan, and Waits work together on NEW Christmas album

Kind of cute idea--but why isn't Willie Nelson included. If George Harrison or Roy Orbison were alive, I would want them in onit. Wait--that has almost been done hasn't it?

Re: Concert Report for Vancouver Dec 2 2010

Just when we think that all the adjectives have been said and there is nothing more to say...\ '‘Live in London’ was clearly only an opening shot. The next tour - commemorated in ‘Songs from the Road’ – showed a looser, more confident, deeper digging Cohen who had turned the songs from exhibits at t...

Re: What made you choose your posting name?

Not because I am a saint...there is a story to this but I have been told to limit the amount I like to write on a page. Suffice it to say that St Theresa (as opposed to Ste Therese or St Teresa) was chosen as a nick name on another website--the first one I ever posted on --and it was a very inside j...

Re: Time to Say Thank You

Thanks from me too Marie--interestingly my initial motivation in joining this forum (some years ago now) was to find a way to thank Leonard (even before we thought there would be a tour) for all he had given me through his work. I was delighted to find that I was not alone in these sentiments and th...

http://www.calgaryherald.com/entertainment/NEeMA+looked+found+Leonard+Cohen/3256215/story.html Just found this story and pic of Neema in a Calgary Herald article--not sure if it was posted already... There is nothing quite as romantic as being a restless spirit. So it has obviously been a gift to So...

Re: What Leonard Cohen Can Teach Us About Love

err yeah--It's kind of embarassing that a Canadian journalist wrote this article about Leonard Cohen. Apart from that, it appears to have little relevance to our man, but speaks volumes about the writer...I never read the Sun in Edmonton but I believe the Vancouver Sun is supposed to be of a higher ...
