also on 1st avenue is a very good independent bookstore called Elliot Bay Books. they sell used books as well and offer a ton of author readings/appearances...worth checking out if you are in town for a few days or have time before the show!

To get in early, do you have to have purchased your tickets through this site? I got mine through TM for one of the presales...as these ones had already been sold. Still, I'd love to meet the band. Although I haven't posted a lot or registered until recently, I have been been frequenting this board ...

There is a lot of insanity in Seattle at the moment. Their has been a spike in crime, particularly in the Belltown/Pioneer Square area. The danger level here is not the same as most other major US or foreign cities as Seattle is a fairly white city and does not share the same disparity of race as mo...

Most baseball games go from 2-3 hours. There is a renewed interest in the Mariners this season as Griffey Jr is back with the team. The Silver Cloud is literally on the doorstep of the WAMU theatre entrance, so you will be safe there. Other areas of Pioneer Square can be iffy at night. For a meeting...

Another word of advice, as appealling as it may seem, avoid the walking through the downtown alleyways at all costs.

You can still buy them on presale with the AEG password " takethiswaltz " . I just picked up 2 seats in Section E, Row 25. Not too bad....I guesss.and since they were the 99 plus fee ones...that is probably still cheaper than what the scalpers will charge. However, this being Seattle it is...
