Re: Pre release streaming in Europe...and worldwide

I didn't call anyone a 'dolt' (synonyms: a stupid person, fool, nincompoop, clown, simpleton); and I have no idea what "real fan" means.

Re: Pre release streaming in Europe...and worldwide

Listening again to the album today, I must say I love the production and arrangements. Those great and grand themes delivered in a disarming and doleful tone, but sung over an often '80s' pop soundscape has worked well for LC many times. Re: Pre release streaming in Europe...and worldwide

I'm finding the negative comments about the production and arrangements tiresome. Thankfully, LC has been joyfully indifferent to the idea of making facsimile renditions of songs that have been aired on stage. Thank God he's not one of those artists who "asks the fans what they want", whic...

Re: Tom Jones discusses leonard cohen on BBCTV 27-5-12

It's an awful version, in my opinion. The phrasing, the melody, the humour - they're all lost. Jones tramples alls over it as if it were the green, green grass of home.

"Paying £95.. doesn't seem right."

Beautifully put - very understated. I would expect sexual favours from The Webb Sisters, "on an unmade bed", for that price.

£85??!! You have got to be kidding! I've seen LC three times, and it was worth every penny, but there's no way I'm forking out 85 quid. Daylight robbery.

Re: Isle of Wight release (Oct 20) - all details

Watching the DVD right now - fabulous stuff. Can someone clarify something for me? Of the three backing vocalists - Musmanno, Washburn and Hanney, which is which?
