I agree with Lizzie ....the "width" was especially impactful(!!) but the "baronies" struck me as a tad pretentious...unless I have interpreted it incorrectly?

hi Manna....have you read any of Eckhart Tolle? theres a good test where it asks you to "watch yourself thinking" then think of a word...most people cant think of a thing because the mind is actually watching the thinking!! It sure shuts the mind up!

I totally agree with UrPal.... Cohen was seeped in the Bible...and when one writes ...on a true level.....all kinds of things pop out of ones head and heart ....for my part they dont always make sense ....but they somehow seem relevant to what one is writing at the time...so I guess trying to analys...

Oh and before anyone replies with all the Judiasm stuff concerning Norman...I am not a Jew nor do I like Judism or Roman Catholicisim for that matter ....I just dont like the name Norman!! " I learnt to write what might be read by one like me" I guess the latter bit didnt have to be Jewish?
