Re: So what happens when the US/Canada tour ends?

I saw some info relating to a possible gig next summer at the Paris Zenith which can accept up to 20,000 persons. Obviously some European countries have not been made as yet. For ex Spain and Portugal but also, considering the overwhelming demand in France, and Benelux would it be appropriate to pla...

Re: Setlists

Perhaps I missed a step but I see here and there set lists posting letters -acronyms?- for each song. For ex EMI - Dance me to the end of love. What does that mean ? Also anyone has an idea of why Avalanche is or is not played ? I was spoiled enough to enjoy it but in that sense I feel privileged.....

Re: Bruxelles, October 19 & 20

Thank you Jarkko, I am overwhelmed by emotions and want to thank you Leonard, you the ladies, the musicians and the crew. Has Leonard found the elixir of youth ? A concert of 3 hours + is the kind of performance that the young generation should consider, isnt it ? In addition he runs on stage, dance...

Brussels 19 & 20 Oct

Surprisingly I have not seen anything regarding a meet up or a concert related activity in Brussels. Anyway both the concerts have been sold out since July 25 BUT my wife and I were lucky enough to get tickets and we will be there this Sunday The Brussels venue -Forest National- enjoys a bad reputat...

Re: live album?

At this point a live recording is a must as well as a live dvd and a subsequent studio album with new or unpublished stuff.

Does anyone know if a live recording of this tour was previously captured or where and when it is planned ?

Re: On the cover of the Rolling Stone

For those who read French, I just realized Leonard appears on the cover of Rolling Stone of Sep 2008(French edition). There's no interview but a sort of update on Leonard's recent activities.

Re: Your must for the Tour Set List

Chelsea Hotel ? Leonard performed that song in brussels, Oct 79 following a witty introduction and evocation of Janis Joplin. It is difficult to imagine other singers covering this song but I once heard it sung by someone else ! Can not remember the name...so may be Leonard is thinking of performing...

Re: Your must for the Tour Set List

I think that any set list should be left to the artist's appreciation and no one else. The audience will always request what they already know and the role of the singer is to perform the way he feels, as and when he performs. In general I would not mind if a set list differs every night. An artist ...

Re: I thought I was alone!

Do not be misled you have never been alone although i myself am amazed at the rush to buy tickets for the Brussels venues. In less than one week both the concerts were sold out (approx 12,000 seats) which is quite considerable here and which LC had never sold before. His concerts in Belgium have alw...
