Re: CONCERT REPORT: Marseille, France, Sept. 21, 2010

I'm exhausted but so happy. It was a wonderful night. Thank you Harald and Beatriz for the candles and the meeting. I'll try to post pictures as soon as I will be able too.

Re: Marseille, Who's going?

you're right, the Dome is ugly. If you want to appreciate Marseille, you have to take the boat and visit the calanques, or go to the "Corniche", or see the Old Port. There's nothing to see in the surroundings of le Dome, and nothing to do. It's a shame.

Re: Marseille, Who's going?

Hello

if you want I can buy flowers ! I don't think we'll have problems to get them into The Dome. And I also think Harald could give these flowers to Leonard.. It's up to you.

Re: Marseille, Who's going?

I have no more computer so I can only have a look at this forum from time to time.. Don't be afraid, Marseille is not a dangerous town. I would advise you to share taxis if you have to come back to the Old Port after the show. I don't think that the metro will be open, and it's a rather long way to ...

Re: Marseille

Bonjour, I live in Marseille. To answer your questions : - the city is as safe as Paris is. You just have to be careful. Always hold your bag, if you want to withdraw money from a cash distributor, go in a bank etc... You can't compare Marseille with Barcelona, I'd rather compare it with Naple. To b...

Re: Who visited the most shows? Let's count!

Only 3 for me..... Lyon (9th july), Nice (22th july) and Paris (25th november) but my bank didn't like the price I paid for the last gig (161 euros !) Anyway, it was worth it, the show was beautiful, the sound was perfect and to see Leonard Cohen at the Olympia was so moving.... Lyon was a magical n...

Re: Paris 24-26 november 2008

Well, I was at the Olympia on the 25th and this was a magical moment. When Leonard came, there was a stand up ovation. He was very moved, and thanked the audience. There was a real devotion in the audience, and a great respect for this living legend. The sound was perfect, the lights were beautiful....

Re: Nice, France (July 22)

The concert took place in a garden. According to the media, there was about 7.000 persons, including Bono and The EDge (U2). I didn't see them...We had no chairs, so you had the choice either to sit on the grass, either to stand... THat's what I did, and I had the chance to be in the front row. The ...
