Re: "Thanks for the dance" - the new album

I am sorry to say this is a terrible interview, at least in English. It reads as if it were conducted in English, translated into Hebrew, and then translated back into English. It's filled with errors and, probably has lost a lot of its meaning in the process. Is their a transcription of the origina...

Re: Chords for Old Ideas?

Is there anyone out there who can post guitar-friendly chords to Old Ideas songs? Transposing the chords is such a chore for us lazy bastards living in suits...or not;-).

Re: The New Yorker streams "Going Home" and prints the lyric

The New Yorker notwithstanding, "brief elaboration of a tube" can't be right.

This Poem is for a Woman

This Poem is for a Woman This is a poem for the woman Who keeps me waiting Prodigal with herself Happiest when she is not She greets me with a smile that opens my soul That let’s talk intimately as husband and wife And I imagine her laying bare her white thighs in the darkness But I love her body o...

Need a ticket

I have two tickets at present but have a friend from Mexico who has been an LC fan for years but has never seen him live. I need to find him a good seat so that he can join us at the concert. Let me know if you can help. ***Martin lives in Portland, so I guess he is looking for a ticket to the PORTL...

Re: Las Vegas Tickets

In a stroke of luck, I was unable to purchase the tickets during the pre-sale and had no trouble getting Ticketmaster to take my name off the will call list. They sent me an electronic copy of the tickets and assured me I could transfer them. I am disappointed that I will miss the concert but the bl...

Las Vegas Tickets

I have two good seats for Nov. 12. Now I can't go. The problem is they are "will call." Is there any way I can get them sent to me and/or sell them to someone else. Please advise ASAP. I really can't afford the financial loss and hate to see such good tickets go to waste.

Re: Advance ticket booking for Files/Forum members

Are there tickets available for Kitchner on June 2? If so, how (as a Forum member) can I purchase two? Also, I am in the US; Do we need passports to fly into Canada on a fight originating in Portland, OR? Please let me know ASAP. I have been a fan of LC since first reading his poems in 1962. I have ...

"The Genius"

Leonard ain't exactly a "secular Jew" in the sense of being non-religious. He lights candles on Shabbat and belongs to a synagogue. He has even been known to daven (pray).

Mazel Tov!

Dear Mr. Cohen: My deep and abiding enthusiasm for your work extends from the time I stumbled upon a Canadian edition of The Spice-Box of Earth straight through listening again and again to Ten Songs. Your books and recordings have been my constant companions through several moves and many extended ...
